Dinner last night
Here is a recipe for you. Don't know what to call it. Changed another recipe I got off food network.
1 pound bacon, or vegi bacon
1 can sauerkraut drained and squeezed dry
2-3 potatoes sliced thin
1 small onion sliced thin
1 small package frozen spinach, thawed
1 can broccli and cheese soup
1 cup plain yougert
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp fish sauce (or worchester sauce)
Sliced cheese (or shredded) whatever kind you like.
saute bacon (skip if vegi bacon). Saute potatoes in bacon grease or vegitable oil. (can microwave them first to make it faster), saute onion with potatoes. toss potatoes, bacon, sauerkraut, spinach, onion together and place in baking dish. Mix together soup, yougert, garlic and fish sauce and stir in. bake at 350 til done, about 20-30 min. Top with sliced cheese and let melt.

Saying NO
I have lots more work to do with 2 new rescue dogs, the new cats, and the new horses, in addition to the regular farm duties, and the craft stuff I have to do to keep my sanity. but who do I say no to....The high school senior who is trying to find homes for her cousin's neighbor's cats after the neighbor dies. She found homes for most of them, but these three. The shelters and pound are all full and they would have been put down had she taken them there. At least we can buy them time til someone wants them. ...The elderly horses who spent their lives serving humans and are no longer valuable so are uncared for and cast away....The horse a friend rescued, but was too challenging for her to rehab...the backyard puppy mill dogs who were unsocialized and being given away in a parking lot...Somehow, God keeps giving me the ability to do more. Sometimes though I need a break....Time to go do more, break time will come this evening...Crocheting granny squares for knit for Japan, knitting a birthday hat for Halos of Hope, sewing an Apron for Craft Hope, or making horse hair necklaces. Will decide after dinner.
Cats--they are taking over

I have no idea how many cats we have now, since 2 are pregnant. Sushi is not allowed in the living room, cause she says the cats don't belong. clyde is spending lots of time in the living room, watching the other cats. Kit Kat is busy making sure I still love him best. And I gotta buy more Kitty Litter and cat food. These guys do nothing but eat and poop right now. I definately like Feline Pine best for kitty litter. I can't stand the smell of the other kinds. I don't think they care what kind of food they get, as long as it is plentiful, but will have to switch to kitten food for the 2 pregnant ladies.
